I’m anti-“Everyone Needs Therapy” simply because most people aren’t emotionally mature enough to use it well - if they were, they probably wouldn’t need therapy because they could critically think through their problems… hot take? Maybe.
These are great points! I have had multiple therapists and a different journey with each. After 5 years I’m finally feeling set with mine. But I did a bunch of searching to make sure I could find one in network aka affordable because that part is so tricky!
I spoke to someone recently who said they have been with their therapist for nine years— longer than I’ve known most of the people in my day-to-day life!
It can be such a secure, affirming thing to have someone unbiased in your corner. I’m really glad to have Kelsey in my back pocket for when/if I need her. But yes!!! Rookie insurance mistake on my part. Thanks for reading <3
You have such a way with words. A lovely read.
I adore you. Thanks for being here 🫶🏻
